Weekly Contests begin on the Thursday of each week at 12am EST (the "Start Date") beginning September 4, 2008, and ends exactly one week later (the "End Date"), including any games started between the Start and End Dates. There are a total of 17 Weekly Contests. Entries are allowed before 12AM EST on the Start Date.
Every eligible RotoHog Football'08 team as of one day prior to the Contest Period is automatically entered into the weekly contest. Teams that register during the Contest Period will not be eligible for the current contest but will be automatically entered into future contests. If you are a resident of Arizona, Iowa, Louisiana, Maryland, Montana, Florida and Vermont at the beginning of the Contest, you are permitted to play in the Contest, but you are not eligible to win prizes. Residents of Quebec and any jurisdiction that does not permit awarding of cash prizes are not eligible to participate. Residents of Canada will be required to complete a skills test in order to collect prizes.
Scoring is based on the RotoHog Scoring System. All games that begin on a day included in the Contest Period are included in the scoring. Games that are scheduled during the Contest Period but are delayed until outside of the Contest Period are not included.
Once you win a Weekly Basic Contest prize, you become ineligible to win another Weekly Basic Contest prize for the rest of the season.
If your contact information is incomplete or invalid, your prize will be forfeited and awarded to the next runner up. Please ensure that your profile information is current.

Prizes in the RotoHog Weekly Basic’08 Football Contest will be awarded to those 10 eligible entrants each month who comprise the 10 highest points earners among all eligible entrants as of the last day of the contest month according to the following "Prize" schedule:
