I sent an Invite to someone I know to Join my league and now they show up in My Friends on my Profile.
We figure if you are going to invite someone to play in your league, you will want to trade props or insults on your profiles. If you don't want them as your Friend, simply go to your profile and click on the "X" next to their user name to remove them.
